It’s actually a subject that I was thinking about a couple of weeks ago when people started returning to offices again.
While those who are self employed generally benefit from being able to work anywhere, a return to normal will inevitably mean more face to face meetings and therefore more chances of getting ill - Covid or otherwise.
It’s easy to call in sick when you’re a salaried employee (though not always, more below) but for those who are self employed, it often feels like we need to work until we’re on our deathbeds before taking a day off for financial reasons.
